  1. The channel Inside Russia, run by an exiled Russian, has a great analysis of this topic. Very much recommend it. The guy Konstantin exaggerates sometimes and makes wrong predictions, but when it comes to facts and politics, he´s pretty good.

  5. "I wouldn´t make too much of the Russian reshuffle" - I venture to disagree. Shoigu was one of Putin´s closest and most trusted friends. They go back 30 years. If he moved him from the source of money and military power called the Ministry of Defence, it means there´s mistrust growing in the Russian government, for the first time in 20 years.
