  1. What´s happening in the right-wing politics of the U.S. is the same thing that happened in Germany in the 1930´s. "That man can do no wrong." My country neighbours Germany and we studied that part of history a lot, and it certainly rings a bell. It´s the dark side of humanity that can rear its head any time, anywhere. It´s important to fight it, but also not to lose focus on the good things: fun with friends, hope and ideas for the future, fair play, creativity, understanding, honest conversations.

  2. They still matter. We shouldn´t give up on them. Might look useless today, but believe me, it will matter to our grandchildren.

  4. Some of it is plain old European slow bureaucracy. Some people want to help fast but they´re just cogs in very complicated machines. Plus, my country is struggling with weapons production simply because it doesn´t have the employees. Unemployment has been extremely low for a decade, which was great but now it´s a problem.
