Yes, but without genuine hope and unity, their media savvy would have gone with the wind by now. People believe what Ukrainians say in the media, because they actually do what they say, they're united and they have hope.

@AbcDino843 Nope, Ukrainians have a strategy. But whoever knows is not saying because it might help Russians. What we know for sure is one element of Ukrainian strategy right now is keep shaping operations going and keep wiping out Russian artillery systems. They're doing quite well, Russians really have been losing a lot more artillery systems lately.

Yep, Dominic Nicholls also does reports for the Ukraine: The Latest podcast quite often, and his reporting is always great there as well.

I'm from Czechia and we certainly don't have a problem with our government not supporting Ukraine enough. Unfortunately, this differs a lot country by country. But given how many different countries there are in Europe, I'm still happy that we're doing this well. Could have been much worse.

Belonging cues. That's what makes good people and a good team. "We cooperate. We are equal. We have each other's back. We give each other benefit of the doubt. We make each other laugh." Hugs, greetings, fist bumps, jokes, constructive criticism, fun feedback. I translated a brilliant book on this. It's called "The Culture Code" by Daniel Coyle. I started translating it when the war started and it was incredible to watch Ukrainians do EXACTLY what the book said. It was as if they were following it, step by step! When I wrote Daniel Coyle about this, he seemed surprised. So happy to basically have my observation confirmed a year later!

Which part is not true IYO? The Russia part plays up the darkness a bit too much, but the Ukraine part is absolutely true from what my sources tell me. I'm from Czechia (not far from Ukraine) and I know people who go to Ukraine regularly to give humanitarian aid to civilians and protective gear to soldiers. They all report that some Ukrainian soldiers are not as capable as the Western media portray them, but they're learning fast, and Ukrainians in general are actually even friendlier, more hard-working, united and hopeful than this video shows.

Yeah, good point. But Putin probably isn't in a bunker in Kremlin, he has luxurious and well-protected villas in Valday and Sochi. Navalny's exiled colleagues did a research on that a couple months ago.

It's incredible how united they are and what strength it gives them, but they couldn't fight on strength alone, they need professionalism. And they have that in abundance. I especially respect General Zaluzhny, the commander-in-chief. He's this inconspicuous, down-to-earth guy, but he's brilliant.

Russia has lost a lot of hardware, too. And my country has just sold Ukraine a lot of ammunition.

They treated the POWs very well at the start of the war, but now they're tired and frustrated, so I hear about instances when they treated them very harshly. But the instances of Ukrainian soldiers caring for animals appear on internet every day, they do it all the time. And I have it from people who visit the soldiers that they genuinely are like that. They're often educated people, some of them even had animal care as their job before the war. They rescue burnt hedgehogs, remove rabbits from the road, rescue hares from minefields, save dogs from drowning.

@mitchyoung93 They do. Military experts in my country say they know what military strategy they're using, but they're not divulging it because it might help the enemy. They say it's based on an old-but-good Soviet one that's also sometimes used by Americans, adapted to new scientific and psychological findings and new technology.

Greetings to Mykolaiv from Tišnov, Czechia 🙂

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed the rhythm 🙂 It's like a piece of dramatic music.

My country (Czechia) just sold Ukraine a lot of ammunition. Russia is manufacturing ammunition itself, I think the problem there is logistics. Ukrainians have been blowing up their railway tracks and warehouses, so that might be one of the reasons.
