  1. Better late than never, and fear gets us nowhere. Everyone can contribute to the safety of their country. We can learn the basics of first aid, learn drone piloting, support positive activities for teenagers so that they grow up with a feeling of self-confidence and responsibility, and much much more 🙂

There are 2-3 generations of people who grew up in a very safe, very structured and very isolated bubble. Central European countries didn´t really experience that much Soviet oppression: they were sovereign states and most of the oppressing was done by local Communists. The Iron Curtain prevented us from travelling to most places and accepting expats, but it also limited the influx of international gangs and dru*s. These are people who were brought up to think "If I don´t rock the boat, I´ll get a qualified job in a state-run agricultural company or a factory, I´ll work there for 45 years and I´ll be completely safe. That´s it." Now, they´re having to deal with immigrant crime, necessity of changing jobs every 5 years, a lot of the important stuff being in languages they weren´t taught, internet and AI, etc. etc. They just don´t know how to think about them, how to deal with them. They feel like their life experience (or, what their parents taught them) is worthless in this new complicated world. AfD is their way of pushing these things back, away from themselves, so that they can matter again.
