  22. There is a YouTube video by a American proffesor about blacks in Mexico. I just tried to find it without luck. It was part of a series about blacks in the Americas. It m ight be a PBS thing. You guys came up in my search though. I have lived in Guadalajara area (Tlaquepaque) for 20 years. I am a woodworker and make jewelry boxes here but my business now is mostly buying and selling Mexican artesanias for export. Sorry to find you only when you are leaving. If you have time to eat dinner or get together somehow before you leave look me up. I am easy to find. Look in visiting San Blas Nayerit. I lived there for 2 years. It is very natural bohemanian sort of place. Look it up. Good luck with your adventures.

  25. Depends where you live. I run a business here in Guadalajara and I have to worry a lot about security. My business brings me in contact with the lower economic class of people so that is a lot different that being here on vacation. My glassblower was the victim of a nasty home invasion and was run out of the country so he cannot testify. I have seen a kidnapping, been a victim of attempted robbery with a gun, had a dead body left on my street and there was a fire fight a few blocks from my house, had a police officer killed in front of his house 2 blocks from me... I have been here 24 years and spent 11 years in the worst bario in Guadalajara also. All that said, I feel safe. If I lived in the southside of Chicago or the bad part of Philly or LA I would probably have similar stories. I have a rule. No drug dealer or police friends. They bring in proximity to problems.

  30. Yes, it is much better video quality now. I have never liked that format "estreno". You always have to go back and look for the beginning of the video. Who wants to watch only a part of it? I would just download them as a complete product so it starts at the beginning.but that is me.
