@WilliamMurphy-uv9pm Sometimes your kids or your child could be a negative factor. And it wasn't his fault, he was a low functioning autistic so he had to have
my wife's attention all the time. She's been my ex-wife now for a few years already.
And I kind of became a gopher for all the extra stuff we needed, but I was mainly the bread winner. You can tell I'm older, when's the last time someone said bread winner. Our daughter was two years older than our son, but she grew up okay anyway, a young adult - she has her job, steady boyfriend, apartment and all that.
The Department of Veterans Affairs came through for me on my claims, after
I couldn't hold a job very long, not PTSD but some other mental things like anxiety,
and depression as you mentioned before. I was in my early 50's and everything seemed upside down. Before all that she even stabbed me in 2010 through my right
bicep, just missing the brachial artery, and scraping the median nerve. And I'm right handed so it took a while to regain feeling actually in the hand, actually the main two fingers and the thumb. The VA claim came through for that because I hadn't quite left the Army yet, so it's 30% automatically but really that's too low, so in a re-evaluation in 2020 it was changed to 40%, total VA Comp went to 100% rating. I want to write a book on my ordeal I just haven't gotten to it, and I'll need a new computer that has Word.

@zoieks49u Yes, it can be dangerous. Mens work is dangerous and women shouldn't be in positions like policeMAN, FireMAN, demolitions and firearms,
large fish -fisherman, race car drivers, Iron worker, heavy construction. Combat Arms military, and there are more. I've done my share of tough stuff like the military,
but even in there if you pick a lighter MOS you'll have women soldiers around and some will out-rank you. Then the games and crap will begin. I know because I started in a combat-arms MOS, Bradley Fighting Vehicle Mechanic in the 3rd Amrored Cavalry Regiment. I did that for 4 years in my early to mid 30's. Got in the Army a lot older than most. But not much BS there if you like to work hard and challenge yourself. No BS stuff like putting up with what some woman thinks etc...
But I left that for an easier MOS still in the Army. Looking back the Cav was where I felt the best.
