  1. It's disingenuous to say that it's undefined. The function clearly approaches infinity in that case. There are functions for sound design that use division by zero like floor(ceil(input1/input2,1),-1) in which case -0.3/0 = -1 and 0.5/0 = 1. Math is a tool, you can have theoretical arguments in school but division by zero is not a valid criticism when someone is someone is trying to show some modelling.
