This "science is incremental" argument is bullshit. Science is supposed to create better life for us, by investing money into classifying butterflies or investigating theories that are dead on arrival is diverting resources from this goal. Having people who are sceptical is good. Criticise papers and institutions like she does, I don't give a shit if there will be 10 flat earthers more if that means we're not going to lose the sense of direction.

@canibanoglu9643 It's a foundational theory if it explains multiple "higher level" theories. By higher level I mean closer to what you observe in everyday life - like gravity.

@KermitDaGrung You seriously think that the only criticism can be done by 5-10 people appointed by the journal? And if she's not one of them she has to write a dunk paper on their paper? I hope before you've responded to any comment here, you've written a peer reviewed paper that got published on science on how your opinion is actually compatible with scientific process and on JAMA on how Sabine is actually salty.
