When it comes to alpha and beta they also lead to some reaction, but our bodies are mostly composed of carbon and water which typically do not react to radioactive material. Example: Carbon+alpha->Oxygen+gamma. It'd be a different story if humans were made out of heavy mass atoms, but they aren't, so no fission( or fusion in a cold environment) can occur.
