  1. I think if the auditory hallucination doesn't fit the surroundings you'll be fully aware that it's not real. I have this thing where I sometimes hear a VERY loud glitch when I am falling asleep, but there is nothing around that could make that sound, so I know it's fake.

  4.  @ashleytinomartinez  Yeah, I think voices are similar to colors. Although you could technically invent a voice additively, this is just so unplausible I think people can only imagine voices they've already heard.
