  1. Afaik dessicating and composting does make sense but it's beeing done by the state anyway, so not much point doing it twice. The state can do much more with it than we can. Like separating composting products (phosphor, nitrogen and methane) and using them as needed. Not many cities have it, but the heat from composting can be used for district heating.
