@sassl.4289 My concerns are mainly safety, reasonable cost of living and economic stability. All the big cities seem to have crime problems so I am looking at towns and small cities. Since I speak English and just a bit of Spanish I would like a place where English isn't too uncommon. Parts of Eastern Europe look promising. Chile looks good. The Phillipines and Thailand may be good options
