  1. I am embarrassed to say I married a woman who I knew had problems but I thought she had it under control. Turns out she had a spending addition and because of a traumatic childhood could not clean up the house. It was not under control. To top it off she hated being led and felt she could do better with her own ideas. It was a train wreck

  3. ​@Victor-it6bv You have a point about striving to achieve but I think I have a way to express how many men think. In war, sometimes you win a battle and sometimes you lose. When you see the battle going against you, you can stay and fight to the very end or you can retreat. In history generals often took their troops away from a possible battle because the terrain was unfavorable and they thought they were going to lose. Many men today see the terrain of society being so unfavorable and that they are so likely to lose it is better to fight/date some other time and some other place

  6. In tribalism you have to defend your tribe whether the members of the tribe are good or bad. As an example, think of good cops defending and covering for bad cops. We can appreciate the culture of our tribe or group but if unchecked tribalism can be a big problem. If we treated people more as individuals, we have a meritocracy meaning a person's status/value is determined by their own actions
