  1. Thanks Coffeezilla for the fun chat! A quick point of correction; I at one point call Steve Eisman Canadian, but I was thinking of David Rosenberg, a Canadian economist who has similar views on Canadian banks. Eisman is fully American!

  2. Good observation 🙂. I am working towards becoming a portfolio manager, and my job would still be primarily stock research/investing, but the CFP is simply to help incorporate those other aspects of wealth management some clients ask about while you’re meeting with them. I would only be dealing with people’s investments, but it helps to know a thing or two about estates, insurance, and taxes; at the very least it gives me some cursory knowledge to help answer questions they may have since a lot of people deal with investments in conjunction with their other personal finance areas.
