C caymer The only reason Zimbabwe was worse off economically after the apartheid was because they stopped getting help and funding from Western countries. South Africa is already self sufficient, it wouldn't have the same impact.

@Expjumper They starved the Ukrainians because they were trying to break away, it was a military tactic not a political one, it was a siege, one like any other, where you starve out your enemy until they surrender. It was either that or a full scale invasion and suppression of rebels. Any way it was nothing to do with racism, many many Ukrainians fought and died for Communism during the second world war, they even called it "The Great Patriotic War", they even have a "Great Patriotic War Museum" in Kiev.
