  2.  @bradenevans514  The vast majority of murders happen between people who know each other, usually between spouses or friends. 85% of all women murdered, are killed by a man that they knew. https://www.ozy.com/acumen/us-domestic-violence-murder-rate-rises/89868 These murders are obviously not premeditated, they were crimes of passion, and it's a lot easier to stop yourself from killing someone by choking them out or stabbing them than it is to change your mind after you start shooting at someone.

  3. No they don't, most crime is not planned, and you are more likely to kill someone in anger if you have a gun at the time.

  6. ​ @wettau  Yes, you can own guns, but with much heavier restrictions than the rest of Virginia, it's like Canadian gun laws; 10 round cap, no open carry, mandatory background checks and "online training", fully automatics, silencers, SBRs, and short barreled shotguns are completely banned, "assault weapons" and 50. BMGs are also banned, and a massive 10 day waiting period compared to Virginia no waiting time.
