  3.  @killacamfoo  Communism has only been acted upon within the last 100 years, capitalism has been acted on for the last 3000, all of the warlords, all of the land barons, all of the kings and queens, they murdered billions in the name of capitalism, the Japanese in WW2, the Americans in Vietnam, Genghis Khan, the Persian Empire, the Romans, the Vikings, the Nazis, the British Empire, the Dutch in Africa, they were all capitalist and killed in the name of profit. And the 100 million deaths from communism is a figure from "The Black Book of Communism" and has since been debunked, it used only statistics by anti-communist sources who were more than likely to have heavily embellished them, it also included all of those who died of the cold and who died in unrelated famines, and all of Communism enemies killed by communists in all their wars, so every soldier who died fighting communists in WW2, Vietnam, Korea, Cuba, the Winter War, the Communist revolutions in both Russia and China, the China-India war, the Soviet-Afghan War and even the Russia-China war where there were communists on both sides, so the 100 million death statistics are bullshit.

  5.  @IncognitoUnknown-fc2tu  The "Sino-Soviet Border Contlict" there were two of them, one in 1929 before China was Communist, and one in 1969, it was just that both China and Russia claimed a piece of land at the border. The fighting only lasted a year but the argument was only finaly settled in 1991.

  11. Venezuela was never socialist, it tried until the US put trade embargoes on them and banned the sale of their oil, their only natural commodity, they were never even close to socialist, Britain's more socialist with its NHS.

  14. The idea of a class system and the uneven distribution of resources (Capitalism) has been around since items had value. And I was making a point that just saying because a Communist country kills people does not mean that communism itself is directly responsible for killing them. As a Capitalist country killing people does not mean that capitalism is directly responsible.And the 100 million is a total bullshit statistic from "the Black Book of Communism", it takes into account every soldier that died on both sides of every conflict involving the USSR, so every soldier that died in Vietnam, Korea, the Eastern Front, Afghanistan, and in all of the revolutions around the world, including both dead communists and those killed by communists. It also uses deliberately biased souses that are every likely highly exaggerated statistics."wealth and progress" Africa is Capitalist. And both the USSR and Communist China became superpowers within 40 years, it took the US 250 years to become a superpower. Communism has shown incredible success, they got to space first, they were the first to create an infinite energy source from nuclear power, they were the first to implement free healthcare, state run public transport, free education, minimum wage, workers rights, weekends. Capitalism has led to far more collapses and destruction than communism, the Roman Empire, the Persian Empire, the British Empire, the Russian Empire, the Mongol Empire, the Dutch Empire, the Spanish Empire, the Holy Roman Empire, Nazi Germany, they were all capitalist and they all killed millions and they all collapsed and burned to the ground.

  32. ​@Cheedy Social Welfare is a socialist idea, it didn't exist until the conception of socialism as with weekends, workers rights and the ability to strike, as well as minimum wage, and free education. There things only started coming around the way we know them after the 1920s when the Soviet Union was the first to take the plunge into socialism and workers in other countries thought "hey, that's kinda cool, I want some of that!", and things like unions and Labor political parties popped up, since workers alone can't make a country socialist they settled for just some of the ideas. Before that, people used to just work until their employer couldn't use them anymore and they would be dumped with nothing.

  33. @Cheedy Bismarck was extremely anti socialist, he authorized some from of free medicine and gave "old-age insurance", but it was all in an attempt to keep voters that were moving towards the Social Democrat Party, so what he gave was socialism, in an attempt to stop people voting for real socialists.
