Intent IS important.....if Oct 7 was allowed to happen the Israeli's have good reason to be angry with their government but it DOESN'T negate WHAT Hamas DID whether 'allowed' to happen (or through self-convenient incompetence). Folks are far too easily led, manipulated and then self-manipulated by self-righteous (while self-serving) emotion at the expense of the further-considered rest.
