  1. 'miscalculation' is a strange way to frame a terrorist action deliberately targeting civilians, especially when the country targeted is one who lives by the 'never again' zero-tolerance mantra. I think they knew exactly what they were doing now that victimhood (despite all the rest) has become such a shameless calling-card for both sides in so many conflicts, where civilian deaths now sadly serve as pawns for further shameless and self-righteous, outrage-based self-justification.
