  1. I'm a part time lecturer at a major university in Australia. The universities have now sadly been devolved so far that they've just become a shameless business selling a loan you can't escape from, where the majority of attendees are now entitled kids (or kids easily sold into debt via an insincere promise) who think they can simply BUY their further privilege while many ironically claim to hate 'privilege' (as they cluelessly self-project while shamelessly self-serving).  The universities are still an INSTITUTION though (but no longer one where your thinking is challenged) while now unfortunately more like one of those padded cell institutions we got rid of years ago.  I now feel like I'm running day-care centre or a sheltered workshop for fragile (and/or easily manipulated) kids on the narcism spectrum who you're NOT allowed to challenge .......which might interfere with their ideological indoctrination.
