I think they might have targeted (or been trying to determine) how much folks will over-prioritise their jobs (for the new compliancy/serfdom world?) I loved my Uni teaching job but not enough to play Russian Roulette, so accepted my instant firing after the 'rules' post contract were changed (and ironically having previously been hired for my actual merit rather than my conformity merit)......and then had to take the job back after the mandates were dropped, the uni became desperate AND after the cost of living increase coerced me to return to my job of now working for a-holes (but with less risk at least).

I've lived in Melbourne Australia for 50 yrs and this city now feels like a shadow of itself while infect-filled with Invasion of the Body Snatchers inspired pod-people or vapid (while fake-smiling) Stepford Wives....It now feels like a strange alternate version of itself compared to say 15 years ago. I'm also the ONLY person I know who refused the compliancy experiment so maybe it has done something to brains and cognitive functioning as nothing really surprises me nowadays while things get stranger, more absurd and far too easily accepted with each new passing day.

  10. My doc 'retired' too during it all, the last time I saw him was when I was getting a flu shot to be allowed to see my gran in a nursing home. As he was aspirating the needle he told me he was concerned about the drug company immunity for the upcoming 'drug' and sketchy mandates, to which I just smiled and replied to him "don't worry, you'll get it too" which he then looked at me regrettably and said "I know".......he closed his clinic a few months later when the jab came in and is a good man whose medical advice I (and I imagine many of his patients) now miss.

I had lots of friends getting booster phone and text message 'reminders' in Australia.....but they all registered themselves on the covid-app you had to use just to 'check-in' and enter venues (like the supermarkets) .......I never 'checked in' to stores during the fear mongering and just flashed my phone at the barcodes to appease the security, but never actually clicked the subsequent 'register' link so have never been gaslit......except from the easily-led masses who far-too easily negated me. A friend who 'registered' (and who worked at multiple busy public spaces) was quarantined THREE times and had to make alternate plans for someone to mind her kids being a single mother.

I now know two families who have kids with myocarditis and a third with a dead kid (and a silent payment) as well as a great friend who 'died suddenly' just recently.

Australia never had much of 'culture' ......but mateship was thankfully always obvious, like folks helping others out during natural disasters......I have only heard denial or hesitation to even talk about (or bad excuses) regarding how to help (and what was done to) small business and all the self-determined folks (and previous contributors to the system who were not reliant on big business or the government) who were sadly the biggest target of the nasty 'divide and conquer' deliberate devolution initiative after they were so easily disregarded and after all the inconsistent and ever-changing nonsense which was ironically sold as a natural disaster, which we used to help folks after. Melbourne now sadly feels like a city of compliant, apathetic, half-sleeping, pod-people from the old Body Snatchers film who won't even have a bigger discussion let alone thinking or considering further/more. I ended up having no income throughout the fiasco after deemed 'not eligible' for the assistance given to all the big business employees and already government reliant (after having paid tax for 30 years and never getting or expecting anything back).  No income, locked down with no ability to work, no coverage, bills still coming regardless, business destroyed and then losing my part time uni teaching gig for not getting jabbed (despite me ironically teaching on-line and my employer planning to continue on-line teaching)........where the results and rest become obvious......but try telling anyone. It was all deliberate......or the folks running the show are utterly incompetent, neither of which is something to be proud of or aspire to......like those so easily disregarded ironically were.

I had a conversation with a friend the other day who was still willing to justify all the a-holery because of the 'deaths' ....but who wasn't even willing to further discuss the self serving elements such as 'deaths from covid' or 'deaths while testing positive to covid' ....it all just became a self-serving cult.

International manipulation from the shameless (and over-control-hopeful) creepies who are clearly eager to manipulate-drag us into their self-serving and NOT Very Brave New World Disorder. ......where they first have to divide, devolve and then conquer us .....via race/sex/gender .....a whole lot of fear mongering-manipulation .....and then some nasty (and morality debased) moral relativity 'normalisation' .....with a big dose of narcissism too via (anti)social-media and some over 'encouraged' self-identified victimhood, where the angry and 'led by emotion' (at the expense of their better/further-considered critical-thinking mind) 'victims' will then more easily self-justify ANY self-serving thing to themselves.....and ironically FOR their manipulators, just as their manipulators always unfortunately intended of their easily-led useful-idiots. .....all by 2030 apparently!

John is great but his logic is perhaps flawed......especially when he makes no apologies based on the 'known information'......Maybe he should consider if the 'known information' was deliberately skewed like SO MUCH else surrounding the whole creepily controlled (and vested-interest) based narrative (with folks un-personed for simply questioning) even if inconvenient to himself and his own ego. This is the same logic behind why others will never apologise for treating their fellow humans like $hit and why politicians will simply blame others out of self-serving, self-convenience and inability to take responsibility for their own power-leveraging.

It's not that hard John, by the 'speed of Science' she just means the speed of fear-based 'marketing.'....science is generally far more considered and not in such a rush to reach self-convenient and vested-interest umm 'results' while it continually questions itself.....which once made it such a great and inspirational part of western thinking for such a long period of time, before the dark times where it was then co-opted by ideo-think like Carl Sagan once warned us about!

In the meantime keep taking our 'risks vs benefits' dose, which we haven't yet determined (and probably don't want to) the heart-damage mechanism/pathway of .

......while ironically declaring it 'safe and effective' and just passing it through our clearly lacking 'risks vs benefits' spreadsheet (and our own dehumanised calculator-logic) anyway.

 This sad comedy grift now writes itself. Lucky he didn't ask them about strokes and compromised immune systems (or mentioned the inconvenient words 'spike protein'...and 'everywhere').

 The term 'greater good' is just a way for calculator-logic types ironically NOT on the arse end of the same supposed greater-good to self-justify their own nasty and self-serving selves to their own umm ‘pragmatic' (dehumanised) selves....especially if shielding their lacking conscience from any inconvenient truths which might occur (....knowingly or not).

For supposedly knowing so much there is an alarming amount of information they conveniently DIDN'T want to know.....a little like those German's living near death camps who were then forced to clean up their own mess, while horrified when the inconvenient truth they tried so hard to avoid was thrust forward into their direct sight with an even nastier smell than the one more tolerable from a distance (and from a smoke stack).
