When you don't value and respect human life as a default you can then more easily (while more easily-led) self-justify ANY nasty and dehumanised thing (like in the creepy and dehumanised PRC), while also then trying (badly and lamely) to over-compensate elsewhere with some parroted and insincere/compensating/meaningless tokenism......Most folks still haven't considered what a trans/POST 'human' world entails unfortunately.....even if simply looking around (and just questioning) the sad and ever-developing (while devolving) 'reality' they're increasingly becoming a part of while so consumed by 'pragmatic' non-thinking and far too apathetic to all the nastiness.
