The current (and not very noble either) 'counter' strategy of the CPC is to subvert, destroy and then control the free-market they were invited into (like a trojan horse unfortunately) with subsidised (and state-monopolised/serving) 'cheap' goods.....despite ironically not valuing IP and being perfectly OK with monopolising, which are the TWO primary/fundamental rules which the free-market SHOULD value .....in order to simply NOT become a Corpocracy (or be subverted by communism).

  2. They're ALL trying to hack our minds and the shamelessness of it all is now just laughably obvious to anyone NOT so eager to be 'led' to take an easily-distracted side. The creepy CPC/PRC sadly becomes harder to criticise from a principled/moral perspective when the supposed opposition to it increasingly just debases itself. I'm just waiting for our overlord-hopeful supposed 'representatives' to outright and openly declare "we gotta BE like the creepy CPC/PRC to fight the creepy CPC/PRC".

The "One China Principle" is an agreement between the two STILL existing governments/sides of the UN-ENDED/UN-FINISHED civil war (the PRC and ROC), where BOTH agree that it is in BOTH of their best interests (ie no war) to one day re-unite.  The 'principle' (and its deliberate diplomatic-vagueness/greyness) HAS KEPT the peace since. .......which is threatened whenever the self-conveniently clueless (while shamelessly self-serving) CPC threaten to invade 'unite' Taiwan/ROC while interpreting the Principle in their own self-serving way (which isn't remotely surprising when they're an authoritarian communist cult). Taiwan/ROC officially declaring itself independent (even though it IS in self-governing actuality) also threatens to break the agreed-upon Principle (especially while it is still part of their constitution).  Taiwan doesn't threaten to invade 're-unite' the mainland either anymore, after once having its own 'ambitions' (and self-serving 'interpretation'). The US 'One China Policy' is a simple US diplomatic acknowledgement of the One China Principle agreement, which is why the US fleet sail between the strait whenever the PRC threaten to invade 'unite' Taiwan/ROC, to remind the PRC of their own agreed-upon Principle (while bully-reminding the bullies that their are bigger potential bullies/consequences). The supposed-diplomacy PURPOSE of the UN (while also self-interested/serving....or just easily bought) is thankfully NOT (yet) a world government despite its authority(arian) ambitions .....and doesn't even acknowledge the inconvenient REALITY (or allow representation) of Taiwan/ROC despite the inconvenient ACTUALITY. The 'China' you speak of in the constitution is a potential future (and united) China......which you're confusing with the CURRENT CPC ruled PRC China, who CLAIM (while shamelessly self serving) to be the self-proclaimed authority of ALL things Chinese and the only 'China'.....despite the REALITY of the self-governing (and previous government) Taiwan/ROC ALSO still existing. You SHOULD know all this being Taiwanese.

  4.  @bigdiscenergy  Lots of people (particularly the naive) get confused by the word 'China' and don't realise your point (ie there are TWO existing entities).....which isn't surprising when the CPC/PRC constantly (and shamelessly) proclaim (while self-serving) that they'e the ONLY 'China' (and the purveyors/self-appointed authority on/of ALL things Chinese unfortunately) despite the inconvenient ACTUAL reality.

  5.  @skp8748  'ROC is a rougue govt'......hahaha, they don't have red cheeks. .....the LONGER (and still) existing ROC government could self-conveniently claim the same thing (and the red cheeks claim). You're allowed to think MORE and accept the ACTUAL reality that there are TWO 'Chinese' independently governed entities since the un-finished civil war......I give you permission (and I'll even give you $1 to help compensate for the lost 50c).

  6.  @hxi7141  The ROC took all the historical artefacts during the civil-war to protect it all from the CPC who like to destroy any inconvenient history NOT useful (or conflicting with) their cult.....The Cultural Revolution well and truly proved that. The original and still-existing ROC ironically existed BEFORE the current PRC and was the mainland government since dynastic rule ended.......despite the LATER CPC now claiming to be the ONLY 'China' and self-declared purveyors of all things 'Chinese'......regardless of the ACTUAL reality. The History/artefacts are safer in Taiwan/ROC......they're not a Cult with a control-obsession or strangely fragile ego which HAS to negate ANY/ALL opposition or simple challenge to its own creepy and self-serving self/reality.

  7.  @jacksmith-mu3ee  The UN is a diplomatic tool (to supposedly prevent war after the abysmal failures of the previous League of Nations) and is thankfully NOT (yet) a world government despite its current hopes/trajectory and desire to 'regulate' us all from afar into their unelected/sovereign-negating desires and control.  There are MANY disagreements and unresolved disputes despite the self-interested (or just unaffected) votes and declarations of the member states.
