@DigSamurai "Doesn't give a shit about likes".....hahaha......His whole livelihood RELIES on it (and NOT upsetting the algorithm).....while Lex confuses wishy washy politeness and consideration as wisdom but at the expense of further considered 'critical' thinking while so overly polite-reluctant to simply further challenge his guests. He also ironically sees himself as an introvert despite what he does daily....which all just makes him a ripe piece of fruit to the salesmen/women or narc manipulators he often has on. I like him but he's also annoyingly wishy washy naive at the same time too while over-prioritising supposed (but easily manipulated) politeness.

His K interview was one of his better ones, for the simple fact that we finally got to see Lex pushback on someone rather than just follow his usual wishy washy (and easily manipulated) supposed politeness narrative.....Kanye spewed antisemitic nonsense which was personal to Lex giving him a reason/some motivation to question/pushback.......Lex needs to take more of his interviewees nonsense (and their shameless selling) MORE personally and we might then see him become a better interviewer rather than a wish washy TED talk host for shameless salesmen/women grifters on the sell while he's so easily manipulated to over-prioritise his supposed polite (non-opinion/pushback) for the 'please like me' social media algorithm. Folks like Lex ultimately just make me miss the Letterman types when they over-prioritise politeness (while a little bit clueless and easily manipulated as they search for 'likes').

@mxrandolph4539 I'll have to go back and have a proper/thorough look but do remember him thinking that Hitler was a good bloke with some good ideas (probably not the autobahn, Volkswagen....or liking dogs). Kanye is his own worst enemy though so I wouldn't take him too seriously. Lex has unfortunately become a TED talk host to me while he so chases 'likes' at the expense of bigger/wider actual conversations with genuine pushback. He could be MUCH better if not so easily manipulated in being led to over-prioritise supposed thoughtful (but ironically less thoughtful) politeness at the expense of all else.
