Comments by "secretgoldfish" (@secretgoldfish) on "Response to Jordan Peterson on climate change | Paul Rosolie and Lex Fridman" video.
Those on the dismissive (or less wanting to be genuinely considerate) side of the ideo-spectrum want to call him a denier to help put him in a box of self-convenience instead of also considering that he's likely (and primarily) talking about the MANIPULATION part of the 'climate change' initiative (and now non-argument).....which is something Peterson DOES have good knowledge on. I like Lex, he's a genuinely smart and very likeable bloke but he's prone to manipulation too...... by simply and often over-prioritising emotional-optimism/good-intentions (which are VERY open to easy-manipulation) while confusing 'consideration' as wisdom.....but with less criticism (and self-criticism) thinking. .....AND from simply running on the Youtube/Social media initiative which is based around (and designed TO) encourage you to prioritise and find your love (and income) from the approval of others instead.

@wessel5799 As someone above said this was like watching two people talk about a spanked schoolkid.......I liked when consideration was less passive aggressive and actually considered further rather than via some tokenism hoping to compensate elsewhere.

t's never wrong to say so or to express an opinion ......which is actually another discussion (and/or a distraction too!) .......perhaps they could respond with less of the passive regressive now so common (and often via some faux politeness compliments elsewhere, in the hope to compensate for less genuine consideration). I find it odd that for 'smart guys' they don't (or can't) see that Jordan's (and many other folks) issues with 'climate change' appears to primarily revolve around the clearly obvious politicisation and manipulation of the narrative alongside (and inclusive of) the clearly obvious need to address issues in a finite environment with ever increasing demands ...... but we DO live in strange times where passive aggressive (supposed) sass and sadly less consideration (plus more dismissiveness) has unfortunately become the sad new norm to non-aspire to, especially while so deliberately driven (and easily manipulated) to so seek the approval of others instead......and as the upvote (but no downvote) social media initiative unfortunately intended!

@jackbeagle8458 Dubious?......the world IS still ultimately run by people (with all their human pro's and con's) which is perhaps more relevant when further considered (especially with regards to manipulation and until the apathy of letting A.I decide for us sets in further). I wonder what he'd have to say about passive aggressive dismissiveness in our increasingly (and sad) upvote-chasing/approval-from-others prioritised world?

Climate change and ideological climate change are two different things often conflated (and often deliberately so when not wanting to discuss further/wider, especially with our increasing dehumanisation under the current and self-serving narcissism cult of 'saying something pretty' instead for your dopamine hit and hopeful-virtue).....if I had a political party nowadays i'd just call it 'puppies are adorable' now that folks deliberately DON'T want to think further (or understand manipulation). The 'sustainability' initiative unfortunately feels more like the sustainability of profits now that the greedy ones have realised that they've commoditised themselves into unmaintainable non-profit (and big environmental issues) where controlling the general public more and limiting/gimping the free market to then raise the supply/demand prices (in order to make up the difference) is their innovative 'answer' to self-sustaining....themselves primarily and mostly unfortunately.
