If you can't understand the simple premise that folks should be considered for/by their merit and individual choices rather than their race/gender (or divisive tribal/political/ideological grouping) they had NO choice in then it's really hard to have any real conversation, especially when folks are far too easily-led by the deliberate less-think (and cult) of supposed 'good intentions' and easy manipulation, where simply critical-thinking more is now too hard (and likely now 'mean' for simply containing the word 'critical'). Manipulation sadly rhymes and repeats like history not learnt from.

  2. ​ @shatzofhudson  When it's too hard to further consider the original post/opinion (or context) distract instead (and maybe passive progressive/aggressively name call! too) 'mythological ideal of meritocracy' ....yeah it's such a MYTH (despite the reality of how so many of the genuinely good things in this world have come about). 'enshrine meritocracy'? .....maybe have a further think about what the opposite of that hyperbolic (and telling) binary actually implies (and then self conveniently concludes in)? It's strangely NOT a case of one or the other as much as the deliberate (and self-serving) ideological based manipulation and less-think would have you believe. Those good ol' 'structural and historical factors' (and deliberately self-serving half facts/stories) ARE something to consider ......but perhaps less so while so emotionally and ideologically led, manipulated (and then unfortunately devolved). .....especially when deliberately not further considered past the self-serving and self-convenient parts. The REAL and bigger issue is (and always has been) the sketchy and unfair leveraging of power, but we don't like to talk about that (and distract via the emotive instead) because the new cult would like to reserve the opportunity (and hypocrisy) to sketchily leverage-power against others themselves while telling themselves something overcompensating, pretty (and self serving) instead. No system is perfect and should always be open to questioning but the ideas are often something to aspire towards.... WHILE led by further considered critical thinking (inclusive of the self and the self-serving) rather than by easily-manipulated emotion (and deliberate self-serving, less think). The supposed 'equity' narrative (and ideological grift) and the deliberate self-loathing (while ironically) narcissistically over-encouraged (to then self-justify the self) manipulation narrative will unfortunately just manipulate and further devolve us all into ideo-devolved serfs to the original manipulators via the 'cult of good intentions' deliberately NOT further considered......as the manipulators sadly intended!  .....via those deliberately easily-led and manipulated by emotion (and self-loathing/self-victimhood) to then sadly self-justify pretty much anything including themselves AND ironically their original manipulators (to themselves mostly) while self-fulfilling their useful-idiot role and unfortunately negating individual self-determination for a return to conformist tribal mentality which we once aspired to rise above. This has all happened before.....and will unfortunately happen again, especially when emotional based manipulation (and ideo-based/devolved less think) trumps further/wider considered critical thinking.

  3.  @shatzofhudson  Good luck yourself, you could probably work a little more on the lame passive-aggressive (and perhaps progressive/regressive too!) supposed 'sass' though.....which at least avoids further discussion.....as intended!

  4. ​ @shatzofhudson  And you're still unable to simply discuss while badly (and passive aggressively) 'sweetie'/emoji distracting into lame name-calling with supposed 'sass' and bad gaslighting attempts.  .....probably because you were simply challenged.  Gaslighting only works when the person being gaslit actually cares what you think (or non-think!) Try a little harder!

  6. ​ @shatzofhudson  It was all articulated above while you continually kept trying to distract and dismiss.....badly (and more than a bit lamely). Everything can now thankfully be a "MAY be impeded by structural and historical factors beyond their control" self-serving and self-convenient over-focus/over-priority unfortunately.....especially when you're ideologically led to over-prioritise victimhood (while deliberately led to negate merit!) .....as the creepy manipulators intended (and have already done quite often if history is anything to go by) .....and often via supposed 'good intentions (deliberately NOT) further considered' by the easily led (and then easily) challenged.
