  4. Cantankerous but thoughtful Drinker is far too nice to this adapted property here! It IS great to see this superbly written and plotted game adapted into a live action visualisation but it's also disappointing when you consider that the game itself was already so well considered as a filmic/serial narrative that it didn't actually need a single thing changed.....where most of the changes then just become a simple visual adaption/enhancement or an odd and unnecessary lessening (or game-like side-quest) while it now both over-thinks itself (like self-fart-smelling unfortunately) and also under-think/appreciates its original simplicity and humanity too as a dodgy and manipulative, hopeful-edge-lord strangely deconstructs his own property into bad 'over but under'-thought cliches in a strange homage/prayer to the creepy new cult of nihilism now so hoping to reset/re-write reality for a dehumanised and lessened umm Brave New World! .....which is sadly now far too easily-led by apathy, manipulation, emotion and over-encouraged (self-justifying/serving) narcissism rather than the stoic and genuinely thoughtful critical-thinking which once simply helped us to aspire to be better and try harder!. Just wait till this property becomes the self-serving, victimhood, murder (and golf) simulator of the second nasty game..... of dehumanised, simpleton revenge, where the dislikable, angry, victimhood-identifying characters strangely have to spend multiple seasons to realise that revenge is hollow like that angry halfwit Reeva in Star Wars/Obi Wan taking six whole episodes to umm 'discover'/realise that killing kids might be wrong!

Glad drinker had fun but from the trailers it's automatically a 'better things to do with my time' hopeful piece of contentment to me due simply to the contemporary fashion, themes and over-bearing supposed sass now so common.... then there's the new (and constantly played) trailer covered with quotes like an old VHS slick hoping to desperately sell something half-arsed!

Russel is a true talent who only ever lessens himself when over-smelling his own farts too much, I worked with him once and he was very frustrating simply because he'd clearly be far better if he dropped the un-necessary ego levels a little lower...... which he thankfully appears to be learning with age and a bit more experience (and the potential for some wisdom too!)

I liked Star Wars better when it was rooted in classic western literature/ideas and was full of admirable qualities like stoicism and the simple struggle of good against evil ......before it was co-opted, subverted and Culturally Revolutioned into badly written ideological nonsense (and more useful-idiot/angry-tribal-victimhood 'encouragement') by manipulative and creepy folks lacking originality but still requiring tools for their deliberate devolution-hopes and unfortunate but (Not) Very Brave New World Disorder.

  36. This film was terrible.....but a well done terrible.....and was at least a change from the just terrible terrible films now so often over-inflicted upon us. Terrible terrible films ironically just go and make the bad or average films look far better. I liked Sisu better than this, that film had more merit before over-retarding itself but Extraction 2 was over-retarded right from the outset and overly-bland character-wise simply for featuring Chris..... who still strangely feels as bland as he did in Home and Away, despite now being far wealthier.

Tilda has ALWAYS looked/felt like a cold (and soul-lacking) q-tip! .......from the first time I saw her as Leo's odd and creepy 'love interest' in the movie 'The Beach'......She's almost PERFECT for yet another cold/dehumanised Fincher film and would have been even funnier/weird than Cate and Brad if having been the 'love interest' in the unintentionally funny (and ultimately more like a David Lynch film) Benjamin Button.
