If you can challenge and change the reality and beliefs of people out of fear or out of a misdirected hope for politeness (and perhaps an upvote).....you can then create your own new and unquestioned umm 'reality'...... of creepy fake-smiles which are then never questioned or consider-explored further, especially when simple critical thinking is also then sadly seen as mean because of the word 'critical' (and the threat of a challenge!)......and it all works well.during OR after your planned Cultural Devolution (and subsequent non-thinking serfdom) Initiative!
