  1. 'Stimulating' your economy by deliberately making BAD products (to ultimately serve the state first and foremost) is the modern equivalent of paying folks to dig holes one day and fill them in the next day.

  2. I teach lots of PRC Chinese kids at University in Australia and they pay HUGE amounts of money....which makes even less sense if/when they're going back to earn terrible graduate wages.
