It was all likely just Hunter simply visiting dad....I'm more surprised that he didn't film it himself for his ongoing narc scrapbook (and to embarrass/shame dad.... as blame for perhaps helping to damage him beyond what he's done to himself!)...thankfully there's that passive regressive press secretary with a Stepford Wife faux-smile (and valium like cluelessness) to help over-compensate and distract the kindergarten children.
