! You need to explain Further What you mean by the Oil should be half way on the dipstick if you do your oil change cold. Do You Mean Halfway between the L and H marks? Because some Older Toyotas will Shut off if you take a rapid turn or Corner when the oil is low. Also How come in the Owners manual or service manual they never state to fill it Halfway? and the Usual recommended amount of Oil in the manual fills it to the H Mark??
