  1. # Avoid VW and the problems altogether, Go Japanese or better yet older Japanese vehicles like 80's 90's 2000's ish etc. Much easier to work on, VW has totally lost it's roots in the car industry with cheap "High tec" Crap that breaks too frequently and easily IN MY OPINION and Too many special tools and training needed to fix what was supposed to be simple a enough job for a DIY person/mechanic.
