You said it correctly sir! That's why you get very crappy work done for even basic jobs like a simple oil change now and why I am now looking to doing some basic repairs for myself rather than going to a dealership or franchise or some of those mechanic shops that hire regularly.

Thank You for your honest opinion on the car repairs and inspection. There are too many Deceitful "Professionals" who are't even that knowledgeable or experienced in car repair and charge an arm and a leg to do the simplest of tasks. I would like to see how to repair the wiper assembly on the glass though as there are many other makes of cars with the same problem.

One of the best informative videos on the EGR system I have seen. I do however have a question, what if you did not want to spend the money on the replacement parts but instead just clean the EGR and in particular the intake where the air gets clogged and causes the shaking at idle etc. What is the best method that you have tried thus far to get the intake clean? If you can make a video about this it would help out a lot of people with EGR carbon issues especially with older model cars and not only Toyotas.

Five minutes in and I knew I did not want to buy one. Thanks for making the video.

I am an Advanced Diy Mechanic and I would like to enter the D8 Giveaway. As always great content and informative. However i do have a concern with updates as I have seen many companies now when issuing a "Update" are actually removing functionality from their products in order to force you to buy the latest products. Example "Thinkware Dashcams", "DJI Drones" etc.

The Rowan Atkinson article is a brilliant piece about the TRUTH of Electric Vehicles and the Vehicle industry as a whole and anyone who can think for themselves would also come to a similar conclusion. Remember we now live in a world where media "influencers" try to sway the population easily with their twisted and tainted views and it is helped by the general lack of thinking that is now taught in schools and other social media which caters to very short attention spans, common sense or basic logic is getting harder to find. Twenty years ago automobile manuals taught you how to change your air filter and adjust valves etc, Today they have to print in Bold "DO NOT DRINK THE BATTERY ACID". Furthermore there are those that actually liked the FAST9 and FastX movies, so there you go that says it all about their brain processing capacity. So as the saying goes "let the Donkey Brey", anyone who has sense will dismiss their rubbish.

Do You also know that EV batteries are creating more and more waste. If you leave an electric car Unattended for 2 weeks or a month without starting and Driving (Say for Personal Illness or Injury or Similar), It can possibly go dead and Not Accept a Charge and Thus you will have to replace the expensive battery plus Labor costs, Not to mention any strange problems you may get from the electronics afterwards. But with a Gasoline Vehicle you might just drain the Gas if that and recharge or replace the 12Volt battery and off you go. Furthermore these so called "environmental companies" That state their mining of precious metals does little or no harm to the environment but which Independent Body checks on this. How many journalists actually go the these mining sites both Current and Closed sites to ascertain the effects on the environment and local population?

I think you answered your own question when you asked why the dealerships don't want to do the work. 1- Complicated, 2- Labor intensive, 3- Brittle wiring and plastics Because the customer will always complain and say "it was fine until you interfered with it therefore you broke it" and they are not paying for any work it must be done all free. Unfortunately that is the mind of the average customer at a dealership today and that is why they would not want to do the work. Your customer may be different and have some reasoning but most don't.
