  5.  @cl5193  As a human (tropical species) at our latitude 51° north, everyone suffers from vitamin D deficiency, especially in winter, and I (70) have undoubtedly been infected with respiratory viruses many times over the past 3.5 years (that I have been taking vitamin D). , but did not have any symptoms during that period, which indicates that my immune system is working adequately and is benefiting my health in general, not just against viruses.
