The Dutch (and also the Belgian) government is now starting to admit, after having kept the lie for more than a year, that poor ventilation in indoor spaces plays a major role in airborne infections (aerosols). They have claimed since the beginning of the (whipped) corona crisis that aerosols were unimportant. It was well known to many experienced (state-independent) epidemiologists that aerosols are the main source of infection. This means that lock-downs (locking up people) have the opposite effect and the chance of contamination in the open air is virtually nil. It also means that mouth masks do not help, because the (possibly) contaminated air goes right through them. I know (from life experience) that if the government has to organize something, it is guaranteed to run squarely. This has again been made clear and confirmed throughout this matter.
