@MajDuty not true, without knowing exactly how those those dissimilar materials would behave under compression/decompression cycles, which would only be revealed in cycle testing, (since this is one of a kind). If it had a small leak in the epoxy seal it could have started pressurizing internally to a certain point then it could have had a catastrophic failure of the rear retainer and been crushed like a sewer pipe from back to front. Carbon fiber is not a plastic pipe, it has much different characteristics, and since it hasn't been tested ever, everything we think or proposed is merely speculation. Until we see the debris from the hull we don't know what happened. I would love to recreate this entire thing on my channel, but the problem I'm running into is nobody really knows what processes were used in the manufacturing, I'm assuming the hole was made from continuous carbon fiber ribbon, not cross woven ribbon, and did they layer resin on every layer? If so how thick, what type, how thick was the titanium cock ring retainer? Alot of unknowns.
