That was an Amazing Video! It was cool to see what happened before you came by me.
20000
These things are tough, a real pain in the a**, sounds like a timing issue. But my anxiety is at 500% just watching you guys trying to get it started... I have small engine PTSD rn.
4700
I can't see any color effect though, it just looks blue.

This was a great video !!, I knew exactly when you played the AMG!, I thought the diesel was an Integra Type-R.

I would just weld a few 304 stainless bars parallel with the cat, have you ever tried to cut 304 stainless with a sawzall? Lol. Edit: removed problem solving information 😉.

@Donut Thanks! You guys were all cool as hell tbh, and I usually don't get visitors very often. But you need to see Nolan's face when I was testing the car and he was in the driver's seat with no steering wheel...lol..

I like everything about this car except for the Exposed Timing Belt, that makes me nervous.
421
@MyAutomotiveChannel thank you, unfortunately just like the donut guys I'm dealing with engine troubles rn...lbvs.
153
@thenoob4258 thank you!.

It brought tears to my eyes as well, the fact that Max did not Mount the antennas on the outside as I instructed him to, didn't Mount the camera where I suggested, therefore Nolan had very poor orientation and no view of the speedometer or the steering disc to gauge his input, therefore he only got up 78 mph and it was a complete failure. 2 months of my life down the drain as well as a ton of money 4 days traveling, if you are crying imagine me.
120
Very true Nolan is the real deal

I might just have build one now!!. like my grandpa told me, we're all snowflakes now, all the crazy s*** happened in the 60s...lol.
43
@MyAutomotiveChannel thx, I decided to rebuild the engine right in the middle of filming another crazier jet GoKart project, all of the head bolts broke in the engine block, I milled everyone out with relative ease, except the last one which has been an absolute nightmare. Hopefully today I'll have a better day.

@MrOddsmurf very soon, I have been developing that power plant for about 7 months now, everything from the ground-up is custom made, it was so complex I can't even tell you. But my last components just showed up 4 days ago, so I'll be putting everything together starting next week. Thanks for asking

So awesome! You guys are the best ❤️. You deserve to be on trending

@blainethompson6510 I was thinking about that but what I did instead is I very painfully determined the height of center of gravity and the center of thrust and I slightly elevated the thrust point so I got sort of a Arc and if it was going faster according to my math it would have either landed on the ramp or even better hit the last bus or two. So many people have tried to do jet cars of all different sizes including the mythbusters, so let me tell you the doubts were high until it happened. I was stressed as hell working my butt off and dried out like a raisin by the time we got there
18
@Dubscr Thanks, yeah I'm usually an optimist by a long shot. In this case however I should have listened to Jimmy from mrbeast and controlled the car. I was more worried about donuts video then I was my own.
18
@Dubscr ur probably correct, but I definitely wouldn't build what I do if I didn't take things too serious lbvs. I appreciate the kind words. I have recently moved on and I just got back to filming my videos again. Tbh I wasn't mentally well for the 4 weeks following this ... Seriously.
16
@alexgriffin2732 I originally wrote 316 but then change it to 304 because 304 is pretty impossible to cut with a sawzall blade, because as the blade produces heat the material in the stainless work hardens and then it's game over.
13
@gauravnayak7349 so could I, I just don't mind sharing once in a while.
12
@gauravnayak7349 I am thinking about doing it successfully just for fun, but if Nolan would have just went 100 mph it would have cleared the last bus by a few feet anything above that it would have hit the ramp anything above that I would have went into the trees. In reality there was Nolan's boss's fault for arguing with me about the fpv camera placement, they ended up duct taping it to the rear view mirror and the leaving the antennas inside of the car even though I told him specifically he needed the antennas on the outside for a line of sight transmission. At the end of the day Nolan couldn't see the speedometer he couldn't see the attitude of the car and he couldn't see the steering disc to gauge his steering input and get a better feel, in reality complete failure.
12
@atlsupremeg7462 makes the most sense
11
@MrOddsmurf exactly, I had to design and build and work with large manufacturers to custom develop and do all the run testing on every single component. But right now, my package makes so much power pound-for-pound, it's going to be crazy to see if I hit my range goal of 1600 miles at 80mph in a 1000hp AWD Tesla...lol. I have sacrificed countless videos, money and health mental and physical to get to this point, but at the end I think it will be worth it.
11
@mirlov they don't work, only when they flow really well, I lost over 1000 subs doing the Collab with Mrbeast, donut got pulled in later, I thought it was a terrible idea from the beginning, too many faces in one vid, confusing, at the end I lost Big Time, Donut lost, Mr beast won.
8
@Xfacehack thanks! It has been very painful.
8
@gauravnayak7349 nah there was plenty of time, but I was left working completely by myself, then the driver blew it.
7
Nolan and Justin were the best.
7
@nottodayfedboi3536 that was originally in my comment but then I edited it out because Tristan said I was giving away the secret
6
@---l--- thank you
6
@Dubscr thank you!
6
I lost over 1000 subs doing this video.
6
@deimosreign3662 ha! One of these days, as soon as I hopefully get my production schedule back on track here, I've taken on some very difficult projects lately that have completely locked up my schedule
5
@mirlov you didn't miss anything, it wasn't strange to me I knew we were going to get cut I predicted it. As fast as Mr Beast videos are, to introduce like five guys on camera it's confusing. And Mr B's considered it a failure
4
@scottiemintz5982 glow plugs will work in place of the ignition system, that's what I did on mine. The issue is the timing of the cylinders and the valves has to be spot-on. That way you have all the compression strokes in the right order
4
You have my hand at 1:53. When I was younger people used to think I was throwing up a gang sign when I was just waving..LBVS
3
@Troph2 nope. But I think the issue with the cutoff wheel is that most of the time when they still these, not only are they working in a very confined space but usually at night so that would be a lot of Sparks.
3
@gnov-oq3zt Thanks for everything I've learned there is either a fortune lost, a finger missing or scars left over, nothing in life comes easy, but now I'm just getting started.
3
@jasonstumped2018 thank you
3
@jasonstumped2018 I get stuck on youtube all the time, High/Low is my new fave.
3
@blainethompson6510 thank you, im just now getting going!, I appreciate it.
3
@motosk8er2 it doesn't matter to me what people say, the fact they say its fake, that's a compliment actually, in the next version up real soon they will see what's up, it's not fake I promise. but no I don't delete any comments.
3
@DEFYTHECITY I have some Ideas, Especially after seeing how terrified Nolan was when I was driving from the passenger's seat with the RC Remote LBVS.
3
@racerex340 lol... I haven't seen my last name in a while haha, caught me off guard
3
@motosk8er2 good point, the donut guys setup the FPV system so take that one up with them. Sounds that that would have worked though.
3
@motosk8er2 I don't think so, I just looked at the post and the comment about the BMS system is still there, I may have accidentally wrote algorithms instead of code, but I understand why you doubt it, even Tesla themselves who I talk to and work with quite often are very curious. Even though I built a bigger more efficient power plant this time, the BMS system that I built still remains in place, I can go on forever but maybe I'll do a live stream q&a or something in the future.
3
@racerex340 ha thanks, they found me through Mr beast, they just said that for the story. Have to make a good video
3
@motosk8er2 thanks, I appreciate that, I don't think it personally, but I didn't show my system because it's something I'm developing, my entire power generation system ways only 15 pounds and makes 20,000 watts. I've been working on it for a long time, some of those items I do not have protected yet. But in the next video which is going to be epic I am going to show more I'm just not going to show the proprietary pieces. I definitely have you in mind when I film the next video and I will do my best. At the end I have to weigh my options it wouldn't really make my video do any better by overexposing my designs. Again you will understand once I get into like the 3rd and 4th video everything will make sense.
3
@SpaceMissile thanks
3
@Smokeey409 I made it go far, driver failed
3
@Dayashii Maybe but that is MrB's style, it's his art form and he does it well. my part was already written in the Mr B's video from the beginning, then donut got involved and the whole dynamic changed, it was just too many faces to fit in one bit and a confusing story to follow at that point imo. my videos are fast paced too not even as fast as Mr beasts and you don't see me ever introduce someone in my video who doesn't have some sort of deep involvement in the story. We're going back to the age-old rule of film, nobody gets on screen unless they are important part of the story.
