I would just weld a few 304 stainless bars parallel with the cat, have you ever tried to cut 304 stainless with a sawzall? Lol. Edit: removed problem solving information 😉.

@alexgriffin2732 I originally wrote 316 but then change it to 304 because 304 is pretty impossible to cut with a sawzall blade, because as the blade produces heat the material in the stainless work hardens and then it's game over.

@Troph2 nope. But I think the issue with the cutoff wheel is that most of the time when they still these, not only are they working in a very confined space but usually at night so that would be a lot of Sparks.
