  1. Imagine how scary it would have been back in the day. no warning at all. these days we know when a Hurricane is coming sometimes more than a week in advance. Imagine one just turning up with no warning

  2. I hate summer. you can always get warmer in the winter but you can be completely naked in summer and still boiling. it's winter here in Australia at the moment and I'm loving it, we actually had a mini heatwave here for 3 days over the past week where it was 20 degrees Celsius during the day

  3. I couldn't imagine life without it. sadly it didn't really become affordable to have in your home until around the 1980s

  4. These old cars are now seen as classic treasures. even cars from the 80s and 90s are telling for top $$ here in Australia now. good luck getting your hands on a classic Volkswagen beetle

  5. I couldn't imagine being in a heatwave without aircon. those poor people.. I can only imagine as summers get hotter over the next 10-15 years air conditioning will have to become more powerful. in 50 years everyone will probably have to have commercial grade airconditioning in their homes
