  6. I was given Fentanyl in the ER when I had appendicitis. I'm not gonna lie, it was the best feeling ever. I was even given it in the ambulance on the way to the hospital also. I remember I had to sit 18 hours in the ER before I got a bed before my operation. it only felt like 2 hours lol they kept plying me with Morphine also and Endone (Oxy) at one point they were giving me morphine in one arm and handing me 2 pills in the other hand, I can see how people become addicted and not just because I have depression

  11. My mum has been on benzos for sleep for 27 years. She got bad insomnia after breast cancer. she went off them a month ago while in hospital and put her on Seroquel. (what I take for insomnia) but put her on lorazepam for anxiety as she has COPD and ended up in the ICU for 2 weeks and almost died from not been able to breathe twice whilst in hospital. sadly, I think she is now addicted to them. She is meant to be taking 2 quarters of a 1mg pill a day but is sometimes taking one and a half pills a day. To make things worse she takes opioids for her serve spinal pain. There have been 2 times that I have tried to wake her and she wouldn't wakeup so I had to call an ambulance and that was before she started the new benzo. I worry every time I go to wake her as she is 67 and not in great health..
