  3.  @chamjam_enthusiast  you don't have to answer this question but have you sincerely and with heartfelt emotions apologised to your mother for nearly hurting her? Not only apologise with words but also by asking what you can do to make amends? Even if she is abusive and even if you don't remain close to each other it is a very powerful thing to show remorse and self awareness. If you can't speak face to face then you can consider writing her a card, or a letter, with a gift. 😇💐
