  1. Maybe the victim loses the status of victim when they become abusive in what they vehemently claim to be rightful self defence. The whole driving force behind Germany was the idea that they were helpless victims desperately defending themselves. Two groups of victims can be self righteously trying to destroy each other. This is not an uncommon situation.
