Maybe the victim loses the status of victim when they become abusive in what they vehemently claim to be rightful self defence. The whole driving force behind Germany was the idea that they were helpless victims desperately defending themselves. Two groups of victims can be self righteously trying to destroy each other. This is not an uncommon situation.

@mariannorton4161 it's not just for nothing and it's not the end of the story. That's one sided and over simplistic and indicates that the cycle will be repeated again. Sorry for you that you are so unfortunate to speak this way after what I wrote.
