There's only 2 places that I'd visit if I go to India : Kerala and the North East states, I prefer the term of the Seven Sisters ,though 😊. Calling the rest of the country, the "mainland" is funny but telling . As for being racists , that's not a surprise, the irony is that they complain about it in other countries when it concerns them 😅😅 Imo, if the NE states wish to develop tourism, then it should be expensive and limited , in order to protect and preserve your environment from any degradation that automatically comes with tourism and "development ". Look, lots of countries keep changing names of places and such. They want to be called tur - key- yay ? Fine , we'll continue to say Turkey. Also why did that bird be named as such ? It origins are north American. And imo tastes of nothing much. But we should get used to this stuff of countries, cities changing their names. I'm getting old so I'll still refer to the names I know. When it comes to changing city names, India is world champion ! So let's have fun with that. It'll make for some interesting arguments when playing trivial pursuit!

@jamesm.9285 erm, concerning Dane , the dog, you always add great before. Lovely dogs btw. As for swede I always get confused is it a turnip, radish ? Country names are fun to know.

@RaiderA1711 get used to it and have a good laugh. Each language has a different name for other countries. But we know which places we're talking about.
