I never understood why black Americans are so keen to say that Cleopatra was black ? She may have been tan , but she was Greek. As for her beauty, well, she probably was pretty, but she had a great intellect. She spoke at least 6 languages and was very savvy politically. It's true that there were Nubian Pharaohs, but that was much earlier. Just as Alexander the Great, whose tomb was never found, neither have we found hers. In both cases, I suspect that they were cremated. But this thing that she was black is totally bs !
