  1.  @atb8660  actually labelling the origin of products are an important selling point. I'm saying that, because we just had 2 of our flagship cheeses denied the label of origin. Gruyère and Emmental. For the 🇺🇸 it's just a generic name ! I was totally pissed off by that ! So I can understand that countries want to defend their products.

  2. Europe is not a country tbw, it's just an economic zone. All the countries have different interests , China only has hers. Yes, it's a dictatorship, but is the EU really that democratic ? Allow me to have my doubts especially with those eastern countries. The UK is in the shit that's very true, but that's because of the politicians who, apart from making everyone laugh, when they come back to their senses, they will be back. They voted out, in my country we voted not to join ! And we still don't want to. The EU is trying to position itself as an alternative to the US and China. Face it, those 2 don't really give a toss about it. They have a problem with each other. So don't think that the EU has much clout on the world affairs.
