@grittyfaithgrittyfacts not sure if you noticed but the first good guy w a gun dropped that woman in a heartbeat. She wasn't magical she was a evil person attacking unarmed people which made her evil goal easy. First person w a gun ended her killing spree instantly. So you're wrong a police officer or armed security could have instantly stopped her. Republicans have also put forward bills to help secure entrances to schools including bullet proof glass for entry doors.

@nowayshay you could have put a police officer at every k-12 school in the US, all 100,000 of them. At a $50,000 annual salary we could have had armed security for our children for 20 years with the $100,000,000,000 we donated to Ukraine. The funding would be simple. It would cost around $15 a person to cover the annual 5 billion in funding.

@grayman618 you do understand police opened doors on Jan 6 waving protesters in who respectfully walked around the capitol non violent and didn't destroy anything. Then the FBI hunted them down and held them as political prisoners for trespassing right? This is the same thing just with no consequences

Nope just participation trophies

@jessestreet2549 I don't watch mainstream media they're all biased hacks. You're a fool for assuming. I'm just stating simple facts that hurt your feels. It's not Tucker's words people are believing it's their eyeballs. Did you not see the videos?
2
@Godsbackhand7 there were multiple points of entry. One point protesters broke windows. Others police opened doors and allowed people inside. There have been multiple cases thrown out because police opened doors. MSNBC isn't going to tell you that you have to actually do research and learn for yourself
2
@jessestreet2549 why do you think Democrats fought so hard to keep the Jan 6 footage hidden? Why do you think they withheld evidence from defendants in trials. They just had to release the buffalo horn q shaman guy because evidence cleared him. Multiple people have had cases thrown out because police invited them inside. I'm not making excuses for rioters they deserve punishment. But plenty of political prisoners were locked up for simple trespassing
1
@Godsbackhand7 I also never saw any fires outside the capitol Jan 6. Just tried to find any evidence of that. Reuters shared a photo of a flash bang thrown by police the moment it exploded making the capitol look like there was a massive fire out front. They received criticism for spreading that misleading photo because it was literally just a split second flash not a large fire outside.

@startingQB the problem is America's gun free zones creates gun free victims. You have gun rights in the US. So guns aren't going away. Democrats won't work on any legislation to increase armed guards in school, harden school security, abolish gun free zones and allow staff to carry. All they do is talk about how they'll take guns away. Knowing they can't because it's a constitutional right. That way Democrats don't have to do anything and they can use the victims for votes promising they'll ban guns, knowing they can't

@promethaus5116 there's a lot of unarmed security for different purposes. If you look at the application of armed security they guard more important locations and people. Most bank security is armed, armored car workers are armed, politicians security is armed, CNN and MSNBC building guards are armed, many celebrities have armed security, courthouse security is armed, airport security is armed. Just because there's unarmed security doesn't make his statement false. Armed security protects what's important especially when there's a threat to life.

@fad1959 actually Democrats created gun free zones which allow these monsters to easily target kids. Time to abolish gun free zones, keep kids safe

@kungfucuddles8287 most of the countries that had hundreds of millions killed by tyrannical govts had gun bans and disarmed populations. People in Australia have had many of their freedoms/rights violated by the govt. The second amendment is to preserve freedom, to protect citizens from govt tyranny. That and hundreds of thousands of people use guns defensively in the US annually.

@steadman_walking2866 why compare it to a prison and not a fortress. Prisons keep bad people in, a fortress keeps bad people out. I don't want our schools to be prisons. I want them to be hardened fortresses of safety

@user-xb1ht4py2v "We do have a school person or two ... I'm not sure ... who would be packing, whose job it is for security," the woman said, according to The Tennessean. "We don't have security guards, but we have staff. So there may have been an armed staff member. That's not armed security. And it's not verified anyone was actually carrying. Could have been a staff member on lockdown defending kids in a locked room. Who knows

@kungfucuddles8287 history repeats itself. The second amendment is setup to stop corrupt government from abusing people. Which has occurred throughout all recorded human history. Hitler was time magazines man of the year for his amazing leadership in Germany. How quickly did that turn out to be a bad magazine cover? Our world is extremely fragile. A virus, financial collapse, terrorist attack on our electrical grid. Everything can turn to hell in less than a week. Enjoy this time of peace. Rarely lasts long if you look at history
1
@kungfucuddles8287 if you look at Europe their kids are being stabbed and beaten in the streets. Gun crimes went down but not violent crime. And our kids aren't being gunned down in school. It's extremely rare. How many kids? Tens, maybe a hundred. Medical malpractice kills around 200,000 people annually. We have record fentanyl and opioid drug overdoses, tens of thousands. People killed by reckless drivers in the thousands. If you aren't in a gang it's more likely your doctor will accidentally kill you than a gun.

@user-xb1ht4py2v a staff member said there may have been a person with a gun. No reports anyone did have a gun, so possibly nobody was armed that day. Armed security is there to deter violent threats and engage violent threats. I would hope a teacher with a gun would bunker up with kids and defend them. It's not their job to engage the shooter. What's important is changing the thought that schools are gun free. The shooter literally passed on another target because they had more security.
1
@grittyfaithgrittyfacts no my idea is having an armed police officer to protect children. Abolish gun free zones that turn schools into easy targets. Have staff carry. Make schools as safe as the dnc headquarters, arm schools like CNN and MSNBC buildings. Guard our children like we guard our democrat politicians and their money. With guns
1
@grittyfaithgrittyfacts maybe we should do what Democrats do. Virtue signal saying they'll take guns knowing they can't. It's a protected constitutional right. So by saying you'll do something you can't you get to do what Democrats do best. Nothing. Leave kids defenseless for decades and use causalities for votes.
1
@roninthedestroyer8958 those schools will be the soft targets. At least they'll make the other schools feel safer.
1
@roninthedestroyer8958 a lot of people who were victims of violent crimes want to keep their guns for self defense. It's not always about what you want. Not everyone has the same wants.
1
@allysonbeaulieu7351 the guns aren't going anywhere. So let's figure out how to fix the crazy people. If necessary institutionalize them and keep them from society. Harden school security. Abolish gun free zones
