@RubALamp Wrong. Socialism has nothing to do with "workers." That's Marxist socialism only. "Workers" is just another word for "state." Socialism is state ownership of the means of production, aka evil tyranny and no human rights

@ShaunDreclin yes hooray capitalism aka the reason you aren't starving right now

That "corporate bs" is what provided the funding and resources for this invention to ever have been made
9
@johnelectric933 You have no idea what you're talking about. He got paid what he agreed to work for. Inventions were not part of his contract. The funding and resources for his invention was paid for by the company
8
@_p-x-l_ Doesn't matter, rewarding him was not part of any contract. Without their millions in funding and resources there would be no invention
8
@RubALamp A capitalist economy is the ONLY economic model that works. There are no alternatives. Zero.
7
@rj9319 Capitalism is the only economic system that we have ever had. Go ahead and name another economic system that has actually ever worked.
5
@_Abra_Kadabra_ That's up to the company to decide. It was never part of the contract that "inventions will be rewarded"
4
@RubALamp You want more than 2 functioning braincells there, walnut brain?
4
@frenchvanilla343 So? He agreed to get paid a certain amount for his job, and he got paid that amount. The company owes him nothing extra for doing his job. Giving him a reward is completely up to them. That's not how it works. The company takes a gamble, if it fails, they take the hit, if it succeeds, they reap the benefits. If you think its fair for the company to pay extra for success, then you should maintain that logic and agree that its fair for the company to deduct from a salary if something fails. The entire point of a CONTRACT is that you AGREE to work for a certain set amount, regardless of what the company loses or gains.

@noobkilla3 You have no idea what you're talking about clown
1
@Victor-mi2py Because he would have none
1
@-vaniii- It doesn't. The state does nothing but leech off of others stolen wealth. The state provides nothing.
1
@RubALamp They must've all quit in your brain

@RubALamp You have no idea what the definitions are. So funny how confidently ignorant you are. Socialism has nothing to do with "workers." The term "workers" is just another collective aka a type of state. Socialism and totalitarianism are exactly the same thing. There is no difference between these two terms. "Climate change" has nothing to do with capitalism. Capitalism is the only economic model that works and you cannot provide a counter argument to this fact. Socialist economies fail due to basic economic facts. The US is not a capitalist country. It may of been primarily capitalist at some point in the 1800s, but quickly became increasingly socialist as the tyrant state naturally grows more and more. All socialists are either dimwits, or evil. Pick one.

@ag8454 You mean the companies that provide the resources for those scientists to be useful and do their jobs?

@bdarecords_ The only reason we advanced was thanks to capitalism. Tribal humans are/were backwards savages
1
@bdarecords_ "Communal ownership" is another way of saying "the state." They are the same thing. You cannot differentiate these things.
1
@bdarecords_ Capitalism is precisely the only reason you aren't starving. Without capitalism there is no demand/supply calculation possible via profit, everyone always starves. This is a historical and economic fact which cannot be refuted by anyone, try as you might.
