  5.  @Frostgiantbutsmall  That's a load of crap. The prohibition of any substance has always ended in disaster, alcohol has more of a negative affect on society than any hard drugs and yet it's legal, because when they tried to ban it, gangs popped up, crime shot up, and illegal underground bars became a thing. The criminalization of drugs has created a black market of these substances, unregulated crack dens and gang crimes have skyrocketed, and prisons themselves are full of people that go in for drug possession charges and come out as hardened gang members. The war on drugs is the single largest failure in the 1st world, millions wasted in a bottomless pit of government tyranny. Countries that have legalized drugs like portugal have seen a massive decrease in drug related crime and deaths. So have states like Oregon. And at the end of the day, NO ONE has the right to tell me what I can and can't do with my own body. If a woman can cancel the life subscription of her foetus, then I should be able to snort a line of coke. Not you, nor the government should get to decide what I can and can't do to my body. What if I was against sugar or caffeine, and wanted to ban those things? Chances are you would be pissed. I'd argue sugar and alcohol have caused more societal damage than any hard drugs combined. And the hard drugs that did cause damage, have only caused damage because the government has only allowed them to be sold in unregulated black market environments. So to summarise, all drugs should be legalised, every other option is fascistic.
