Yes they weren't paid a lot, but they were paid their worth. And repetitive unimportant jobs don't pay a lot, that's nobodies fault. I'd rather be in a slightly uncomfortable factory all day, doing some simple repetitive task, than working with primitive tools in the blistering sun all day, doing back breaking farm work till the day I die. At least I can progress in a factory. If you're smart enough you can even get a better job! Shocking.

The current climate change is completely natural, as earth is still recovering from it's most recent glacial period. Actually global warming will have huge advantages for us, like longer crop seasons and more plants which will in turn absorb more CO2
